Once upon a time, there lived a group of pirates who sailed the seven seas on their ship, the "Black Kraken," searching for plunder. One day, they had a problem with their anchor and were forced to anchor on a small, deserted island to repair it. While exploring the island, they discovered a hidden cave. Captain Goldtooth and his right-hand man, nicknamed "The Hook" because he was armed only with a hook on his wrist, bravely ventured into the cave and found wooden crates filled with the finest coffee beans they had ever seen. The pirates were thrilled and decided to claim the treasure. They hauled all the crates and filled their pockets with coffee beans, but when they returned to the ship, they discovered they had underestimated the weight of the treasure and that the ship was now far too heavy to sail. In despair, the pirates began throwing overboard anything they could spare. For the taste of the wonderful coffee captivated them, and they refused to part with it under any circumstances. One of the pirates, the cleverest of the bunch, had a brilliant idea: they would simply stay on the island and drink coffee until they had reduced their weight enough to set sail again. The pirates filled the ship's kettles with water and coffee beans and began to brew. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, and the pirates drank and drank, enjoying the coffee while they lay at anchor for weeks. Luckily, they had indeed reduced their weight, and their ship could finally set sail. The pirates were overjoyed and decided to consider the coffee their new plunder. They sailed from island to island, stealing the finest coffee beans. From these, they created the Anker Blend, because it was thanks to their anchor that this wonderful coffee variety now traveled the world. Eventually, they docked in front of the Sea Halls and gave us some of their treasure to taste.
